Abstract:

The number of female teaching books in the Ming Dynasty was the most in all dynasties, and the identity of publishing subjects tended to be diversified. Female authors included queens, empress, highest-ranking imperial concubines and civilian women, while male authors included civil officials, vassal Kings and scholar-officials. Using identity and Parsons’ theory of structural functionalism as reference, this paper tries to analyze the deep social and cultural reasons for the sudden increase in the publication and the significance of order construction in the publication of female education books in the Ming Dynasty.
