With the continuous innovation of digital technology, the film and television industry
has tried new digital narrative forms in terms of interactivity. From the perspective of ontology,
this paper explores the construction of interactive films and televisions’ digital narrative system.
On the basis of defining narrative object, actor, channel and other system elements, it concludes
that compared with the traditional narrative system in which the audience passively receives
information, the interactive digital narrative system presents“the fourth narrative”operation
process because its audience involves in narrative. Considering the advanced digital technology,
it puts forward three dimensions of improvement measures i.e.“improving narrative from God’s
perspective”,“developing first-view narrative”and“innovating the interactive mode”
