Abstract:

In the process of digital transformation of publishing industry, UK attached great importance to the construction of a healthy legal environment and a relatively perfect legal system. UK’s digital publishing laws have their own characteristics in industry access, government regulations and industry self-regulation, digital content management and digital copyrights. Meanwhile, the laws present tendencies such as gradually strengthening the protection of copyright owners’rights, meanwhile stressing the responsibility of theirs; clearing the responsibilities for ISPs; intensifying technological protection measures; giving rational consideration to public interests and focusing on the protection of public rights.
