Abstract:

The occupational stress of editors not only affects the individual’s psychological
state and work quality, but also directly affects the overall construction and future development
of the working team. Through the questionnaire survey and interview survey on the current status
and sources of occupational stress of editors in the publishing industry, it is found that the current
occupational stress of editors is generally above the average level. The amount of work, difficulty
of work, quality inspection, promotion, salary, health and other factors are the important sources
that affect the occupational stress of editors. Editors, as the main practitioners in the publishing
industry, are the new force in the construction of cultural power. Therefore, the government
administrative departments, industry organizations and publishers should attach great importance
to them and work together to ease and adjust the occupational stress of editors.
