A Study on Factors Influencing the Success of Publishing Crowdfunding in China

Abstract:

This paper conducts an empirical study on the three mainstream crowdfunding
platform publishing projects in China, discusses the factors influencing the success of publishing
crowdfunding through regression analysis, and further compares and analyzes the moderating
effect of crowdfunding platforms. The results showed that the type of books, target amount,
reward status, reward content, proportion of base status, number of supporters and number
of updates had significant influence on the achievement of publishing crowdfunding. In different
crowdfunding platforms, book types have different influences on crowdfunding attainment.
