Abstract:

University Press is the third largest teaching resource beyond teachers， laborato

ries / libraries. University Press is not only affiliated to the university where it is located， but

also has the mission to play its role. Talent training is an important responsibility of colleges and

universities， which is mainly reflected in the training of teachers and students. This is also the

responsibility of university publishing presses. The function of the university press to cultivate

talents in colleges and universities is demonstrated through its publications. Among them，

monographs and textbooks are most closely related to the cultivation of teachers and students.

This article uses interviews， questionnaires， and theoretical analysis to demonstrate the

relationship between university press publications and talent training. Analyze the problems in the

talent training function of university press in China. Finally， suggestions for planning the university

press publications for the purpose of talent training were proposed.
