Abstract:

Since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was put forward, China has advocated

book publishing to go out and explore copyright export business to the countries along BRI.

Nepal has been an active participant of BRI. In recent years, Nepal has frequent interactions

with China in the publishing industry. Based on field research, this paper presented the current

situation of the cooperation in the publishing industry between China and Nepal after BRI was

proposed and analyzed the copyright cooperation mode, and communication mode of the

publishing industry of the two countries. It is concluded that the cooperation between the two

countries’ publishing industry has a bright future, but continuous improvement should be made

in expanding copyright exporting channels, promoting marketization process of exported books

and improving promotion model.
