Abstract:

Picture books， with their unique visual elements and creative techniques， provide

rich resources for children’s books. Canadian publishing of children’s picture books have the

diversity of styles， subjects， contents and coverages. In this paper， based on the two children of

Canadian press as the research object， with artistic and emotional culture as the breakthrough

point, discuss and analysis on the children’s picture books emotion culture， cross-cultural

tolerance and indigenous culture， manifest width and dimension as a children’s picture books.
