Abstract:

Publishing review is a kind of communication action and research activity in which

the subject of review explains， explains and judges the publishing phenomenon by adopting

personal experience and understanding according to certain standards. Since its establishment，

the Communist Party of China has not only attached great importance to the development of

publishing industry， but also paid full attention to the use of various means and tools including

publishing review to guide publishing activities. In the period of new democratic revolution， socialist

revolution and construction， reform and opening-up and socialist modernization， publishing review

of the Communist Party of China has been making headway amid twists and turns and showing

different characteristics. Its historical experience and lessons are of great significance for the

development of current publishing review and the construction of publishing industry.
