Towards Smart Publishing : Transformation of Content Production and Flow in the

Abstract:

This article starts from a systemic perspective and believes that the essence of
publishing lies in the production and flflow of content. Based on this, the main challenges facing
the publishing industry are analyzed, including the mismatch between supply and demand of
publishing content, low quality of publishing content, rigid dissemination of publishing content,
and unclear copyright of publishing content. At the same time, combined with technological
innovation in the metaverse, this article explores the path of change for publishing in the
metaverse. Research shows that metaverse technology can not only help publishing better solve
the current challenges it faces, but also make the production and flflow of publishing content more
personalized, intelligent, and collaborative between humans and machines, bringing about a
completely new transformation for the publishing industry.
