摘要：

清末以来新的印刷方式的传入，深刻影响了中国传统的雕版印刷业。民国时期的公共
图书馆不仅是藏书机构，还是全国范围内有制度支撑的雕版印刷机构。一方面继承晚清官书局版片，
继续开展雕版印书 ；另一方面又设法征集私家版片、保护存储，刷印流传，成为民国时期中国雕
版印刷业的代表，在弘播文化、传续旧籍方面发挥了重要作用。由于雕版印刷在技术上难以匹敌
新兴的印刷技术，也难以适应中国学术文化的转型，图书馆的雕版印书面临着诸多困境，不可避
免地走向衰落，终成为中国雕版印刷业的夕阳晚照。

Abstract:

Since the late Qing Dynasty， the introduction of new printing methods has deeply
influenced the traditional Woodblock printing industry in China. The public library in the
Republic of China was not only a collection institution， but also the last batch of block printing
institutions supported by the system nationwide. On the one hand， inherit the late Qing Official
woodblock， continue to carry out printing， on the other hand， try to collect private copies，
protect ，storage， brush printing and spread. The public library became the representative of
Chinese woodiengraving printing industry in the Republic of China， and played an important
role in spreading culture and inheriting old books. It was an important part of the continuation
of Chinese civilization since modern times. Because block printing technology is difficult
to match the emerging printing technology， it is difficult to adapt to the transformation
of Chinese academic culture， the demand decreases， the price increases， the quality
decreases， the public library block printing books are faced with difficulties such as difficult
sales， less printing， printing instability and so on， eventually become the sunset light of
Chinese block printing industry.
