Research on the Publishing Personnel Demand and Training Model in the Digital Intelligence Era

Abstract: Given the practical need of China’ s publishing industry to transform and upgrade from digitalization to digital intelligence, this study employed the online survey method to collect and sort out the information related to the recruitment of publishing talents released on recruitment websites. The characteristics of the demand for publishing professionals are analyzed from aspects such as job types and educational requirements, professional abilities and comprehensive qualities, and disciplines. Based on the competency model, an innovative model for cultivating publishing professionals is proposed, namely enhancing digital intelligence literacy, enriching practical experience, improving the knowledge structure, and promoting the construction of an independent knowledge system of the publishing discipline with Chinese characteristics, which is beneficial to the practice of responding to the demands of publishing professionals in the digital intelligence era.
