Abstract: This article uses the improved Delphi method, combined with qualitative text analysis and keyword co-occurrence network analysis, to study the opinions of 28 experts in publishing and related fields, and to explore the consensus basis and structural tension of the transformation of publishing research paradigm. It is found that the transformation of publishing research paradigm has formed a consensus foundation with “integration”, multi-method structure and problem orientation as the core. Among them, “integration” is reflected in the principle of research resource organization. Humanistic speculation, social science empirical and computational oriented research together constitute a multi-dimensional research path, and problem orientation has become an important basis for the allocation of different research methods. At the same time, the paradigm transformation of publishing science still faces the structural tension between value guidance and technological development, paradigm identity of computational methods, modern transformation of traditional academic resources, and interdisciplinary integration and discipline subjectivity maintenance. The research holds that the key to the transformation of publishing paradigm is not to replace the method, but to promote knowledge production on the basis of open absorption of external theories and methods around the core problem domain, so as to realize the balance between discipline opening and subject construction.
