Abstract:

Reviewing the history of Chinese moral education textbook construction in junior middle

school in the past 70 years， we have experienced three stages ： basing on unity， moving from

unity to diversity， and returning to unity again. We have gained experience in construction of junior

middle school moral education textbook ： the leadership of the Party and the state is the fundamental

guarantee ；competence cultivation is the goal orientation ；reform and innovation are valid methods ；

the moral education textbook with Chinese characteristics is the result ； compiling team is manpower

support. In the new period， the “set out again”direction of the construction of junior middle school

moral education textbook can be focused on the following aspects ： the goal integrating national

ideology and subject core competences ；the textbook content which is consistent with unity and

appropriateness ； a unified textbook system of horizontal convergence and vertical integration ；

textbook compilation strategy combining theory research with practice exploration ；the research

orientation with multiple dialogues and keeping characteristics in harmony.
