Abstract:
Since1990s, TheBadPublishingoftheJapanesepublishingmarkethasbecomethenorm,and physicalbookstores,especiallyindependentbookstores,havecollapsedandcloseddown.Theyhavebecome increasinglyfierce.TheindependentbookstoresrepresentedbyKonnoShotenandB&Bdidnotsitandwaitto die.Instead,relyingonmarketinginnovationswasaplaceinthe “RedSea”market.Fromtheperspectiveof SIVAmarketingtheory,thearticleanalyzesandstudiesthewaysofsurvivalofsuccessfulcases,inorderto providesomeinspirationalsignificanceandreferencevalueforthedevelopmentofsimilarbookstores.
