Abstract:

Manypeopleholdapessimisticviewofthefutureofbookstoresbecauseofthepopularityof
onlinebookstoresandmobilereading.However, weobservethenearbyculturalcircle, theEslitebookstore
inTaiwanandtheTsutayabookstoreinJapanhasitsoriginalitymarketingstrategy.Throughtheanalysis
ofEsliteandTsutaya, wecanfindfivefeatures :(1) thedevelopmentofthebookstoreasthecoreofthe
multivariateinnovation; (2) interactivewiththecustomerasthecoreexperience; (3) clarifyingpositioning
storetypesandcustomergroups;(4) applicationandanalysisofthemembershipdatabase ;(5) the
architecturalstyletotheaestheticdesignofthe.Thesefeaturesprovidereferencevalueforthemanagement
directionoftheotherbookstore.
