摘要:

1986 年《阅读史初阶》的出版,标志着西方阅读史的首次正式界定,与之有关的多方
面的理论假设层出不穷。作为一门交叉学科,西方阅读史的学科疆域一直存在较大的争议。本文对
西方阅读史的理论假设、方法论陷阱、学科任务、基本问题加以厘清,并阐明其学科边界设计,尝
试对西方阅读史进行学科软边界建构。希图促进对 20 世纪以来西方阅读史学科理论的了解,也为
中国阅读史的研究提供新的视角。

Abstract:

The publication of The Beginning of Reading History in 1986 marked the first formal
definition of the history of reading in the West, and many theoretical hypotheses related to it
emerged one after another. As an interdisciplinary subject, the disciplinary boundaries of western
history of reading have always been controversial. This paper clarifies the theoretical assumptions,
methodological pitfalls, subject tasks and basic problems of the western reading history, and
expounds its discipline boundary design, and attempts to construct the soft boundary of western
reading history to promote the understanding of the western theories on the reading history since the
20th century, and provide a new perspective for the study of the history of reading in China.
