Abstract:

Based on the retrospect of the studies on editing in 2016, the reflection and elaboration have
been made on editing under the background of media integration to answer the question: what is the editor?
Under the background of media integration, the editors are those who have clear editing ideas, who have
the spirit of creation and craftsman, who are the essential human resources in digital publication, who are
the practitioners of publishing theories, who promote their own development through strengthening teaching
practices and accumulating vivid cases, and who have created the history of publication.
