Abstract:

Copyright is the resource asset of the publishing industry and the key to its

innovative development. Copyright protection creates a favorable atmosphere for the publishing  

industry’s innovation and development， and copyright application promotes the publishing

industry to achieve the goal of innovation and development， becoming two important focuses of

the publishing industry’s innovation and development. The legal system， capital and technology

work together to protect and apply copyright， which are the driving factors of the publishing

industry’s innovation development. However， the lag of law， the tendency of capital to profit and

the two-sided nature of technology also restrict the innovative development of China’s publishing

industry. Therefore， the three drivers should be considered at the level of copyright protection and

application to further contribute to the innovative development of China’s publishing industry.
