Development of Mobile Textbook from the Perspective of Context

Abstract:

In order to promote the innovation and development of digital textbooks to meet the
needs of users’precise and personalized learning, this paper makes an investigation on 246
mobile digital textbooks from the perspective of context. It is found that they have already had the
ability to serve fragmented learning contexts, but the support for infrastructure is still weak and the
content framework remain to be improved. Therefore, this paper proposes that the development of
context-oriented mobile digital textbooks should focus on context elements, fully explore implicit
demands, enhance cross-border links, and optimize content organization and service design.
