Abstract:

This article selects the two famous foreign journal publishing institutions Elsevier and

Wiley as the research subjects. Based on the relevant data policy texts and guidelines of the official

websites of the two major publishing institutions， the network research method was used to analyze

the types of research data policies， various processes of research data management， and specific

implementation measures of the two major publishing institutions in detail. The result shows that

the two major publishing organizations have a complete series of multi-level data policies. The

content of the data policies covers the entire process of data publishing， including the storage，

review， sharing， and citation of research data， and most of the process standards highly similar.
