Abstract: [Abstract]　This article focuses on the development model of China’s periodical industry since the ‘Reform and Opening Up’ program been launched in 1978. Combing the historical events and statistic data chronologically， we conclude the development path of China’s periodical industry and analyze the characteristics of each stage. Based on this， we look forward to the future development of the periodical industry.
