Abstract:

Under the environment of data-driven scientific research, this paper discusses the service
model innovation of global academic publishing focused on users’need of knowledge innovation. From the
perspective of Knowledge chain, the author constructs knowledge chain service model of academic publishing.
It is made up of supporting factors including science data and user behavior data at a micro level; service
modules including knowledge acquisition, knowledge mining, knowledge internalization, knowledge sharing,
knowledge evaluation and knowledge externalization at a median level; knowledge chain ecosystem with the
cooperation of publishers, library and scientific institutions at a macro level. It is indicated the importance of
constructing data-driven academic publishing service environment, focusing on empowering researchers’
service and promoting different knowledge chain models’development.
