Abstract:

Electronic games’ narrative have three characteristics, that is，players participate, multi-media
and more space narrative but less time narrative are used in the narrative. From narrative symbol and narrative
mode，how electronic games tell story was discussed, and in this process, three narrative models used in
large electronic games, including linear narrative mode, derivative model based on linear narrative and the
sandbox game narrative model, got more attention.
