Abstract:
According to the application of digital storytelling in education, and the problems of teachers and students in the digital storytelling process, we can foresee a bright future for digital storytelling in educational publishing field: it is an important means for the digital transformation of educational publishing and for meeting the needs of readers’ visual stories. It points out four modes of digital storytelling can be implied into educational publishing: telling, imitation, participation and simulation. Based on the characteristics of these modes, it discusses the effective way to combine the story (narrative) with the game (interaction), and to provide personalized products and services for the audience in the field of education.
