Abstract: This article employs digital interface navigation and semi-structured interviews as research methods. Based on qualitative interviews with university students and knowledge workers, it focuses on the emergence logic, cognitive effects, and practical reconstruction of human-machine co-reading as a new reading model. The article finds that human-machine co-reading gradually emerges through efficiency-driven motivation, technological shaping, and contextual adaptation. Essentially, it represents an intelligent reading mode shaped jointly by reader needs, technological structures, and reading practices. It influences readerscognition through pre-understanding, expression transfer, and dialogic inquiry, reconstructing reading practices at the levels of text, cognition, interaction, and knowledge, thereby reconfiguring the relationship among human, machine and text.
