Abstract: In the process of global disseminationChinese online literature constructs national image through three major narrative paradigmscollectivist ensemble narrativesindividual hero-centric narrativesand non-human intelligent agent narrativesoperating across the culturalvalueand discursive dimensions. The cultural dimension constitutes the symbolic representation of national image disseminationthe value dimension consolidates its value-based projectionand the discursive dimension enhances its international acceptability. Building on this analytical frameworkthis article further proposes pathways for innovating narrative paradigms and advancing national image construction including fostering coordinated collaboration among multiple actors such as the stateplatformstranslatorsand users; strengthening the soft influence of cultural commodities; deepening grassroots expressions in cultural storytelling; advancing a light-touchstrategy of implicit dissemination to facilitate international reception; and establishing a reciprocal narrative circulation mechanism in which overseas dissemination feeds back into domestic narrative production.
