Abstract:

In the year of 2006 I spoke on “ The First International Conference on Publishing Industry and Publishing
Education in the Digital Age” about current trends of electronic publishing in Germany. I would like to continue here
with this report. My lecture will outline the three following points: sale and distribution of E-books and electronic
readers， new ascertainments about electronic publishing: barometer of the branch for electronic publishing in 2007，
the AKEP Prize for innovation in 2007 and 2008.
