“Old Acquaintance” and “New Reunion” : the Incidence Angle of Knowledge in

Abstract:

At present, the content and media approach of publishing research under the
discourse of development are facing the innovation dilemma of continuous rupture, and it is urgent
to expand new research dimensions. As publishing and knowledge are intrinsically connected,
we take knowledge as the core concept of publishing research, gain insight into the essential
characteristics of publishing being the knowledge, and abstract the regularity of publishing forms
and states in different periods from this incidence angle to realize the knowledge increment of
publishing research. On this basis, through the investigation of the origin of “old acquaintance”
and “new reunion” between publishing research and knowledge, knowledge empowering
publishing can not only break through the homogeneity of publishing research and activate the
new vitality of publishing research, but also transcend the shackles of publishing transformation
discourse and enhance the effectiveness of publishing practice.
