Abstract:
Chinaisoneofthegreatestcivilizationswhichpossessesasuperiorprintingtradition.There existedlargequantityofChinesebusinessmenandlabourersinthecolonialIndonesia,manyofthemwere involvedintheprintingindustry.ThispaperreviewstheprintinghistoryofparanakanChinesefromaDutch historian’sperspective,toinvestigatehowitpromotedConfucianismandshapedtheChinesesociety.
