Abstract:
A case study is delivered on the analysis of strategy evolution behind mega-mergers of Reed Elsevier from 1993—2014. Driven by technology, product and service innovation, the competitive environment of global publishing industry has experienced big changes. The study describes how mea-mergers occur under the leading of proactive competitive strategies and the key factors for strategic mergers.
