Abstract:
This paper studies Web of Science users’ perceived value and satisfaction by using the methods of Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation respectively. The study finds that the perceptive importance of the value driving factors, i. e. ,“ the quality of information resources”,“ search function”,“ information retrieval and display”,“ the quantity of information resources” and“ related services” decrease in turn. Users are satisfied with Web of Science on the whole. But the satisfaction with three factors, i.e. ,“search function”, “information retrieval and display” and“ related services” are low, which need to be further enhanced according to the comparative analysis between the perceived importance and satisfaction of user value driving factors.
