Primary Research on Parent-child Reading Behavior Pattern of Preschool Children

Abstract:

[Abstract]  This paper takes 3-6-year-old preschool children and their parents in Wujin District of
Changzhou as the research object, comprehensively uses the questionnaire method and reading experiment
method to deeply analyze the current situation and characteristics of their reading in Wujin District of
Changzhou. The results show that the reading comment model, question-answer model, only-reading model
and active model of children are the main parent-child reading behaviors. The children’s narrative ability in the
model of reading commentary and question-answer is significantly higher than the children' s narrative ability
in the model of reading only, and the children' s narrative ability both in the children' s active model and
reading-only model.
