Abstract:

By the analysis of process in on-line first of geography Chinese core academic journals, found
that ：（1）there were 14 core academic journals adopting on-line first, but only 3made full use of it;（2）the
elements label in web page of on-line first was incomplete in some sense; Some journals were even lacking in
some important information;（3）only 3 core academic journals had a relative higher proportion of publications
in on-fine first in 2015;（4）only 6 core academic journals used on-line first more than two years and
continued to use it in 2015;（5）only 2 core academic journals who used on-line first would publish paper long
time early, others could publised in advance for relative shorter time. Therefore, the following proposals were
made for the above issues ：（1）the on-line first should be employed widely and actively;（2）great attention
should be paid to the timeliness and editorial quality;（3）the information markup should be integrity;（4）the
propaganda of on-line first should be promoted vigorously.
