Abstract:

With the data's value growing, chart data content increases significantly in academic publishing. This paper discusses various typical and common problems of chart data in academic publication, reminds editors of paying attention to the various problems in processing chart data while editing manuscripts. It also summarizes the types and reasons of editing problems. At last, it points out that political issues may be hidden in the chart data.
