Abstract: In this paper, the author makes analyses on reasons for the success of American sci-tech journal industry from the perspectives of reader-awareness, management and organization, editors’ competency, operation principles and financial support. By comparing with the current situation of China’ s sci-tech journal industry, the author figures out solutions for the present problems and explores some innovative development approaches for China’s sci-tech journal publication.
