Abstract:

In recent years, with the Internet as a representative of the rapid rise of the new media and the increased
media competition , the U. S. periodical industry has suffered tremendously. Many famous media groups advertising
and turnover are declining, and the media industry came through mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, bankruptces,
thus profoundly changes the periodical communication patterns and the future of media ecology.
