Abstract:

According to the Journal Citation Report published by Thomson Reuters in 2015， there were 11
kinds of SSCI academic periodicals sponsorned by China. It is found that Chinese academic periodicals do not
establish standard academic specifications. There are two manifest problems on the international development
of English social science journals in China. Firstly， they are in the“apprenticeship”and no authoritative
internationalization of academic norms. Secondly， there is no academic self-confidence and no unified academic
standards. Publish practitioners， scholars and the government will have to work together， to establish academic
norms， and then establish a large academic communication platform， and constantly promote the process of
internationalization of our academic periodicals.
