Abstract:

Use Chinese Citation Database( CCD) from CNKI as data source and investigate the academic journal articles
cited laws of three disciplines on both printed media and hybrid media. The findings show that the trends of the articles’
cited curves are relatively similar under these two media environments, but the articles’ cited degree based on hybrid
media outweighs the printed media enormously, and the cited peaks of the hybrid-media articles appear a little later than
those of the printed-media articles. The regression analysis indicates that different mathematical models and functions
are needed to describe and to match the curves of articles’ cited data for different media and in different disciplines.
