Abstract:
This research uses data of annual reports of 24 listed firms of culture industry in 2010, to test the relationship between managerial compensation and corporate performance. The result of regression shows there is insignificant negative correlation between managerial compensation and corporate performance. It also indicates managerial compensation is positively related to firm size, while it is negatively associated with administrative expenses.
