Abstract:

With the analysis for the characteristics in textbooks market of China, we have found the high rigid entry
barrier which result in the low efficiency for resource allocation in this market. Under the study for the effectiveness of M&
A in textbooks market, we proposed the necessity for M&A. Also we suggests that how to select the M&A subject according
to the optimal efficient scale of the textbooks enterprises through the survival testing method.
