Abstract:

The publication culture, which derives from humanity’s practice of publication activities, is one kind
of systemic culture that combines history and reality, macros and micros, static and dynamic, conception and system;
it is an achievement of the application of cultural theory to the publication research. The research of publication culture
has expanded the field of publication research, thus helping us reveal the internal mechanism of publication activities
and rewrite some elementary propositions and theories of publication. In a word, it is a new macro way of thinking in
the field of publication research. Currently, problems in the domestic research of publication culture are very prominent,
so we need to utilize new research paradigms to remedy and strengthen the research.
