Abstract:

The rapid development of series publication in China has not been accompanied with the corresponding
increase in the overall journal quality. One of the major reason lies in lack of a scientific and simplified system for the
quality assessment on the journals. This paper attempts to provide such a model, with the perception as follows. First,
there is an assessment of basic conditions; secondly, those that pass through the assessment will be assessed on their
inner value. A comprehensive result may be calculated upon valuation of each assessed item. The paper proposes some
indications of the items of inner value, with all of them calculable.
