Abstract:

With the evolution of the socio-cultural division of labor, editing has become a profession. It promoted
the book to be enjoyed and spreaded from the ruling class and the circle of literates to the mass. In this process, editor’s
functions have been constantly enhanced, and it makes editing the value of the status and role of cultural innovation.
