Abstract:

The past five years have witnessed the evolvement of new publication types such as ebooks, digital
journals, blogs, mobile novels/newspapers/magazines, wikis and the like. From the perspective of media forms,
display features and functions, they are no longer the simple digitization of traditional publications. The article reviews
the research on these publications during 2006— 2010, and then indicates some important research results which either
have methodological significance or show insightful views.
