Abstract:

Renditions is an English magazine in Hong Kong,which has been successfully translating and spreading Chinese culture to the West.In the past four decades of cultural dissemination,it develops a typical pattern of Chinese culture’s“going-out”:extensive and non-ideological translation selection,Chinese-western translators with multi-cultural backgrounds,accepter-oriented translating and interpreting tactics,international and dependent publication and distribution.Therefore,this is of great enlightening and reference to the magnificent Chinese culture “Going-out” policy.
