Research on the Development Dilemma and Strategies of Popular Science Short

Abstract:

Starting from the background of digital publishing, on the basis of systematically
explaining the development status, characteristics and advantages of popular science short
video, this paper points out that there are some difficulties in the development of popular
science short video, such as scattered content distribution, insufficient breadth and depth,
serious copyright disputes, weak channel linkage, homogeneous content style and poor content
production, and analyzes the main incentives. Then it puts forward coping strategies from
the dimensions of accurate distribution, systematic production, multi-level rights protection,
integrated communication, highlighting brand and strengthening product adaptation, so as to
promote the benign development of popular science short videos in the era of digital publishing.
