Abstract:

Newspaper media is an important part in academic system of modern Chinese historiography.
With holding the identity of scholar and journalist， some Marxist historians established the newspapers and
periodicals， participated in the press editing works and delivered their articles to the press. Due to the intrinsic
value of the articles which were written by Chinese Marxist historians， these papers could be published by
the special columns or the special issues of modern press. However， the political nature of modern press had
influenced the improvement of academic prestige. Profit from the effective communication of the press， the
power of historical discourse of Chinese Marxist historiography had come gradually from the edge to the core in
academic circles， during the overall development of modern Chinese historiography.
