Abstract:
[Abstract] Intersubjective-mediality means the interaction between editing subject and media object. In the digital age, more and more online digital media have developed self-sufficient, sophisticated and highly intelligent technology systems, which will change the editors' ways of working. In order to save human resource cost, most online digital media follow the business logic of the Internet technology company, which will lead to the trend of "technology worship" and "de-editing".This trend erodes the editorial professionalism, impacts the traditional cultural psychology of editors, suppresses editors' independent thought and creativity, thus reducing the cultural value of online digital media. From the perspective of media history, the emergence of new media technology will recombine the communication structure, it takes a long time for the editing subjects to finish their skill upgrade and psychological adjustment. Online digital media will gradually realize that editorial professionalism is one of the irreplaceable core competencies, reinventing themselves by expanding editorial teams and fostering editorial culture. When the publication industry finishes technology transition and online digital media build mature business models, the prominent position of editors will be re-established.
