Improvement of Editing Work of Academic Journals Based on Professional Cognition

Abstract:

The professional cognitive ability of editors plays an important role in improving the quality
of academic journals. In view of the current situation of publishing academic journals in our country, this
paper analyzes the influence of cognitive limitations on the publishing work, and brings forward that these,
including appropriately increasing the types of languages mastered by editors, reasonably allocating editor’s
professional direction and type, updating the reviewer database timely, encouraging editors to participate in
high-level academic exchange, maintaining the relative stability of the editorial team, perfectly using internet
and multimedia communication technology, and doing learning and improvement in communication with
reviewers, authors and readers, belong to the contents of“editor+”, and are the effective ways to promote
and expand editors’professional cognitive ability, expand the cognitive coverage domain, keep up with the
pace of professional development, and break professional cognitive limitation finally.
